 If there was one thing Naru liked to think she was good at, it was singing. So, here she was, sitting in the park, surrounded by people, while she was singing and playing her guitar. It was odd, since she'd only come to the park with the intention of having some peace and quiet, and now look at her.
"Kiss kiss fall in love," She sang, beginning a new song, "Maybe your my love. Kidzukeba itsudemo soba ni iru keredo. Honto wa kirai? suki? mousou na no?" Although Naru was sure no one could understand a word she was saying, they seem to be enjoying it, which was the main part. Plus, she was having fun, too.
Finishing Sakura Kiss, she decided she could do the original song she'd been working on, and she didn't know if people would like it, so, she hadn't let anyone hear it yet. "Candy candy baby, candy candy baby. Candy candy baby. Candy candy baby!" Starting out whispering the song, she got louder as she went, almost stopping when she saw a familiar face.
It wasn't every day that she was Hino Rei around, in fact, she'd only ever seen her with Ema, who was Naru's best friend. "Kimi wa zuruiyo ne itsu demo atashi wo komarasete bakari de. Kocchi wo muite yo tama ni wa ii janai! Oh, yeah!" She continued to sing, glad everyone seemed to be enjoying it, even if they couldn't understand her.

I am walking through the park to get some fresh air. I walk past the cluster of trees and then I hear singing. I walk over to see who it is. My eyes widen a little when I see who it is. "Naru?", I whisper to myself. When she finishes singing I go over to her. "Naru, I never knew you could sing like that. That was really good."

"Datte datte zettai. Kimi wa sotto sotto atashi wo. Tsutsunde tokashite kureru yo sunao ni natte kureta boku mo suki da yo tte. Aitsu wa candy baby. Atashi dake no baby" She finished, smiling at the applause she was getting. Usually she tended to get nervous trying to sing in front of people she didn't know, but, she seemed to either be getting over it, or, she just really loved singing.
After finishing, she insisted she had to go home and finish some homework, which in it's self was a lie, but, she was tired, and she didn't have anymore songs to sing. She promised she'd come back in a few days, when she had some spare time.
Naru set to work putting her guitar back in it's case, when she heard a voice. Rei-san was complementing her. Well, that was a first... Well, considering that Naru barely talked to Rei the last time she saw her, which at the time she was a bit mad at Ema, since she'd been leaving her to talk to Ami-chan.
"Thank you," Naru said, smiling a bit, "It's just a hobby I have," She added after. Even if she wanted to be a singer, she was sure she'd never be as good or as popular as Aino Minako.

I nod, then say, "I only sang once, but that was just something a friend had set up, to my displeasure..... I don't like kareoke, and she knew it too. I think it was just to tease me, she really likes to do that a lot whenever we see each other, if we ever get the chance." I really can't tell Naru the whole truth, the friend being Aino Minako, the real reason for the whole kareoke thing because it was to boost my senshi power. Naru can't know that, otherwise she might get targeted by the youma. That would not be good. "So, you like singing, that's good. People have to have some kind of hobby. I just work at my shrine, it can get boring sometimes if I barely get customers, though sometimes my friends visit, so it's not all that bad."

Naru was a bit shocked; She never knew Rei could sing, in fact, she was honestly surprised she did anything other than work at her shrine, but, Naru also didn't talk to Rei very often.
Rei mentioned a friend a friend setting it up for her to sing, and Naru had to smile a bit. "Ema-chan?" She asked. She hadn't been to happy about her closest friend being friends with the shrine maiden, but, at the time, Rei didn't seem to talk to any one at all, so, no one knew what she was like.

"Not really, do you honestly think Ema could go through with a plan like that by herself? Though Ema did support the plan. I actually needed her help with the kareoke machine...... pathetic right? Though like I said, I hate kareoke, so I never used a kareoke machine before. Ema also took the time to find an outfit for me. I sang at the hospital for the children." Maybe I could at least tell her it was Minako? Hmm, as long as she doesn't go all fangirl on me about Minako..... maybe it might be alright.
"It actually was Minako. She's always teasing me whenever we see each other, but she's always so busy we only see each other once in a great while. Please don't go all fangirl about her on me. Yes, she's cool, but I'm not that crazy about her." That was a total and complete lie... I do like her, a lot. I also think she might like me too, with all the teasing she does to me, even I don't tease Ema THAT much. Like they always say, one who likes to tease someone a whole bunch, they must have a crush on the person.

Naru almost dropped her guitar when Rei told her it was Minako that had planned her singing. Aino Minako? Although she wasn't as huge a fan of Minako-san as Ema was, she still looked up to her. She was their age, and she was a huge superstar, which was what Naru wanted to do.
"I won't freak out, or, I'll try not to." She said, smiling a bit. "I just suggest not mentioning this to Ema-chan." She added, grinning. Kami-Sama only knows what Ema would do if she found out.

I grin. "I know right? We actually are keeping that a secret from her. We all know what would happen if she ever found that out, basically utter chaos. Ema's a good person, yes, but she tends to get ahead of herself sometimes and doesn't think about the consequences."

Naru smiled, "She doesn't think ahead very much," She agreed. Ema was the kind of person to think about the present, and not bother with the future much, where as Naru tried not to think about the past, and thought about the future. "But, she means well," Naru added on after.

Naru nodded, smiling. Although she didn't usually talk to Rei all that much, she liked her. She seemed to be quite mature, and very level headed, unlike Ema.
"So, what brings you to the park, anyway?" She asked, realizing she'd never really seen Rei anywhere other than her shrine... Not that Naru often went to Rei's shrine or anything, just, the few time's she'd happened to stop by.

"I just needed to take a walk. No business at the shrine right now, so I thought I'd come to the park. I like it here, it's nice." I smile. Though, I sense something about this girl. I just can't quite figure it out yet. Though it doesn't show on my face, I know this girl is somehow different than the normal non-senshi people. Masaka..... She couldn't be? A senshi? I just keep that thought hidden away from Naru and say something off topic. "I met Minako at the church where my mother is buried. I was visiting her grave and when I was leaving, she was leaving too. We had just happened to run into each other and started talking, then we found a dog who got lost from its owner. Poor thing. So we both took care of it." I smile. "I think we really bonded then, her and I."

Naru nodded. She could understand just wanting to get away, as she often did. Then she noticed a look on the other girls face, disbelief, or, fear even, but, only for a moment before is disappeared. So, Naru didn't think about it for more than a second.
She smiled when Rei said she'd run into Minako, and they'd taken care of a lost dog. "I'll take it Minako-chan is a very down to earth idol?" She asked. Either she was very down to earth, or, she just really wanted to make a good impression on Rei.

Naru smiled, sighing happily. "I hope I can be like that," She said dreamily, before realizing she was day dreaming, and shoot her thoughts off, and smiled at Rei again.
